I am sure it is no surprise that the Hawaiian Islands made our list. Hawaii is the kind of family vacation where you really can have it all—beautiful beaches, incredible food, rich culture, outdoor adventure, and plenty of time to simply slow down. If you can swing it, I'd give your family 8+ nights so you aren't rushing from one island—or one adventure—to the next. From catching your first wave on Waikīkī Beach and snorkeling with sea turtles to exploring volcanoes, chasing waterfalls, learning to make a lei, or dancing your way through a traditional lūʻau, there is no shortage of ways for families to make some really special core memories in Hawaii. A Hawaiian vacation truly is a special experience, and with a little planning, your family can experience the vacation of a lifetime in this beautiful island paradise.

🌴When Should You Go?: April-May & September-October. Shoulder seasons can offer a nice balance of weather, availability, and pricing, but Hawaii's weather varies by island and location.
